Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their Investigation of a recent Theft.

JPD received a report of a mislaid purse that occurred in Lincoln Square this past week. The purse was mislaid on Sunday November 25 at 5:30pm and recovered at 10:30am on Monday November 26. However, upon recovery, an undetermined amount of cash was missing.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their Investigation of a possible Vehicle Arson. The Jacksonville Fire Department responded to a Vehicle Fire at 5:25a.m. on November 25. A 2004 Buick Century ,parked unoccupied in the 200 block of East State was fully engulfed in flames. The Vehicle was a total loss. Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, it is being treated as an arson.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville and South Jacksonville Police Departments in their investigations of recent Vehicle break ins.

Both Departments received multiple reports of Vehicles being entered in the Overnight hours of November 19 & 20. All the Vehicles were unlocked at the time and among the items removed were cash, credit cards and cell phone chargers. The activity was mainly congested in the Village of South Jacksonville and the NorthWest side of Jacksonville. Crime stoppers suggest vehicles be locked at all times and valuables removed. If the valuables can not be removed, it's recommend to store them in the trunk or out of plain view.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their investigation of a recent theft.

On Saturday October 27 at approximately 10am: unknown person(s) removed several pallets from a business in the 500 block of Capital Way. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Light Blue Dodge Ram pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer. The pallets removed are valued at over $900.

Crime stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Morgan County Sheriffs Department in their Investigation of a recent Theft. Sometime between 6:30pm on October 18 and 10:45am on October 19; Unknown person(s) broke into a storage shed in the 2200 block of Baldwin Rd and removed several tools. Among the items taken were a Craftsmen tool set and a carpet cleaner. Total loss of the items and damage done is over $1200.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department and the Morgan County Sheriffs Office in two cases of Criminal Damage.

On October 6 at approximately 6:30pm; a Pumpkin was thrown at a residence on North Grand Avenue in Jacksonville from a moving car. The Pumpkin shattered a window causing an estimated $300 in damage.

On October 7 at approximately 10:30pm; a vehicle traveling Northbound on US 78 near the Jacksonville airport was struck with tomatoes from a vehicle traveling southbound. A headlight on the northbound vehicle was shattered in the incident.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their investigation of a recent residential Burglary. Sometime between 3p.m. on September 17 and 1p.m. on September 18; unknown person(s) damaged a window and door to make entry into a residence in the 400 block of Richards Street.

Upon entry, the interior was ransacked and jewelry removed. Among the Jewelry lremoved were two Men's Watches.

Crime stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their investigation a Fire of Suspicious nature. At 1a.m.

On September 18: Jacksonville Police & Fire Department responded to a Mobile Home Fire in the 500 block of Brooklyn Ave. A Fire had been set in a mattress located in a rear bedroom. There was no structural damage to the mobile home.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their investigation of recent Criminal damage.

Sometime between 3p.m on Monday September 3 and Noon Wednesday September 5; several vehicles had been damaged while parked in a lot located in the 300 Block of South Clay near MacMurray College. An unknown sharp object had been used to put scratches in over ten unattended vehicles for an estimated $2500 in damages.

Sometime between 11p.m. on August 28 and 11a.m. August 29; unknown person(s) removed patio furniture from the Hair Company located in the 800 Block of South West St. A Dark Brown Wicker Loveseat,Chair and end table were removed. All estimated at a $500 loss.

Sometime in the overnight hours of August 5/6; Unknown Person(s) caused damage in the downtown plaza. Two bench's had graffiti etched into the paint, flowers & shrubs were damaged as well as a string of exterior lights.

Sometime in the overnight hours of August 6/7; unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti to the Water Tower, Tennis Courts and shrubbery in Veteran's Park.

Last week; multiple mailbox's along Baldwin road were destroyed.

Crimestoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Morgan County Sheriff's Department in a multitude of Vandalism cases that occurred recently.

At last report: over 35 mailbox's were destroyed on Baldwin Road and North Sandusky. The damage occurred in the overnight hours of July 31 and August 1.

Crime Stoppers of Morgan & Scott County are requesting information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department in their investigation of a recent Aggravated Battery/Robbery. At approximately 10:45pm on July 23, A victim was robbed and battered in the 300 Block of West Morton. The suspect who struck the victim over the head and took his wallet was described as a Black Male, approximately Six feet tall and weighing 260 pounds. He was wearing a Black Cap & Hoodie and Grey Jeans. Witness observed two slim built males running northbound on South East Street at the time of the Robbery.
